Barbara Supanich, RSM, MD,
FAAHPM will present “Palliative Care in the 21st Century from a Catholic
Perspective.” On Saturday September 18th, Dr. Barbara Supanich, Medical Director of the Palliative Care and Senior
Services Center at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring
Maryland, will offer a reflection of this important topic.
This event is open to all. The day begins with the celebration
of the Mass in Our Lady’s Chapel at the Cathedral of Mary Our
Queen Church at 10:30 AM followed by light refreshments and the
presentation at 11:30 AM in the Undercroft meeting room. CME
credits are available to registered physician members of the

physicians who have traveled to Haiti to assist with the relief
